Stornogebühren

Wir erheben keine Gebühren für Reservierungen, die 7 Tage oder länger vor dem Abholtermin storniert oder geändert werden. Wenn Sie Ihre Reservierung nach diesem Zeitpunkt stornieren oder ändern, dann werden die folgenden Gebühren erhoben:

• Wenn Sie Ihre Reservierung weniger als 7 Tage vor dem Abholtermin stornieren oder ändern, dann werden Ihnen entweder die vollen Kosten der Reservierung oder bis zu maximal € 30,00, je nachdem, welches der niedrigere Betrag ist, angerechnet.
• Wenn Sie Ihre Reservierung weniger als 24 Stunden vor dem Abholtermin stornieren oder ändern, dann werden Ihnen entweder die vollen Kosten der Reservierung oder bis zu maximal € 70,00, je nachdem, welches der niedrigere Betrag ist, angerechnet.

Nichterscheinen

Wenn Sie Ihr Fahrzeug nicht am spezifizierten Abholtermin abholen, dann behalten wir uns das Recht vor, Ihnen eine Nichterscheinungsgebühr in Höhe der Kosten der Reservierung oder bis zu maximal € 70,00, je nachdem, welches der niedrigere Betrag ist anzurechnen. Im Falle eines Nichterscheinens wird Ihnen Ihre Kreditkartenzahlung abzüglich der Nichterscheinungsgebühr rückerstattet.

Nicht aufgebrauchte Miettage

Wir weisen darauf hin, dass nicht aufgebrauchte Miettage bei vorausbezahlten Reservierungen nicht rückerstattet werden.

Mauritius

Additional Driver Policy

Additional driver fee is MUR 150.00 plus tax per rental. Maximum of four additional drivers allowed per rental.

Age Requirements

Minimum rental age is: 21years for car groups: MDMR (Mini), CDMR (Compact), EDMR (Economy), ECMR (Economy), CCMR (Compact) and 25 years for car groups: ICMR (Intermediate), PDMR (Premium), PFAR (Premium 4x4), PFMR (Premium 4x4), MTAR (Mini Convertible), MTMR (Mini Convertible) and SDMR (Standard). There is no maximum age. There is no young driver charge.

Cross Border Policy

It is forbidden to drive on unpaved roads or to cross the sea via ferry. It is not permitted to leave Mauritius.

Delivery / Collection

Available at the Hotels at an extra charge of MUR 150.00 + tax each way. Airport delivery & collection is charged at MUR 110.00 + tax. Delivery & Collection is not allowed outside of office hours.

Insurance Excess

Collision Damage Waiver & Theft Waiver limits the customer's financial responsibility for loss, damage or theft of the rental vehicle. The maximum excess that is payable in the event of one of these incidents is 25000.00 MUR. The maximum excess will vary depending on the vehicle you are renting, please ask at time of rental for further information on which excess applies. If you would like to reduce or remove your excess responsibility please ask the rental staff when collecting your vehicle about additional products that are on offer .

License Requirements

Driver must present a valid driving licence at time of rental. Minimum licence requirement is one year for car groups: MDMR (Mini), CDMR (Compact), EDMR (Economy), ECMR (Economy), CCMR (Compact), ICMR (Intermediate) and a minimum of two years for all other car groups. An international driving permit is required, but is not mandatory. Should your driving license not be resident to the country of origin of your booking we reserve the right to charge an appropriate rate for your country of residence.

One Way Rentals

One way rentals are permitted between all locations and for all car groups provided the rental is for at least 24 hours. The charge for one-ways is MUR 300.00 + tax. One-ways must be pre-booked. International one ways are not permitted.

Out of Hours Policy

Out of hours pick-ups and drop-offs are not allowed.

Payment Policy

Acceptable methods of payment are: Visa, Diners, Mastercard, Amex, National Charge Cards & National Vouchers. Cash, Travellers Cheques & Eurocheques are not accepted. A deposit of 275 EURO + 20% of Estimated Rental is held on the credit card until the car is returned.

Refuelling Policy

Car must be returned with the same amount of as time of pick up otherwise, refuelling charges will apply as follows: Diesel: MUR 47.00 per litre (this is the pump price of MUR 41.50 plus a service charge of MUR 5.50). Unleaded: MUR 55.00 per litre (this is the pump price of MUR 49.50 plus a service charge or MUR 5.50). Please note, fuel prices are subject to change at any time.

Roadside Assistance

All information will be given to the client at the time of rental. In the event of an accident a police report must be completed. In the event of breakdown/accident a replacement vehicle will be provided if necessary.

Special Equipment

Infant seat - CSI - (0 - 12 months - rear facing) = MUR 150.00 + tax per day. Replacement amount is MUR 7,000.00.                                     Baby Seat - CSB - (1 - 3 years) = MUR 150.00 + tax per day. Replacement amount is MUR 7,000.00.                                                          Baby seats are not loaded in the system. If required, please add to the remarks.                                                                               Toddler Seat - CST - (4 - 7 years) = MUR 150.00 + tax per day. Replacement amount is MUR 8,000.00.    GPS Navigation Systems = MUR 400.00 + tax per day. Replacement amount is MUR 10,000.00.                                                      All equipment is on request only. All special equipment is available for one-ways. This country does not provide reflective jackets and is not required by law to do so.
