Stornogebühren

Wir erheben keine Gebühren für Reservierungen, die 7 Tage oder länger vor dem Abholtermin storniert oder geändert werden. Wenn Sie Ihre Reservierung nach diesem Zeitpunkt stornieren oder ändern, dann werden die folgenden Gebühren erhoben:

• Wenn Sie Ihre Reservierung weniger als 7 Tage vor dem Abholtermin stornieren oder ändern, dann werden Ihnen entweder die vollen Kosten der Reservierung oder bis zu maximal € 30,00, je nachdem, welches der niedrigere Betrag ist, angerechnet.
• Wenn Sie Ihre Reservierung weniger als 24 Stunden vor dem Abholtermin stornieren oder ändern, dann werden Ihnen entweder die vollen Kosten der Reservierung oder bis zu maximal € 70,00, je nachdem, welches der niedrigere Betrag ist, angerechnet.

Nichterscheinen

Wenn Sie Ihr Fahrzeug nicht am spezifizierten Abholtermin abholen, dann behalten wir uns das Recht vor, Ihnen eine Nichterscheinungsgebühr in Höhe der Kosten der Reservierung oder bis zu maximal € 70,00, je nachdem, welches der niedrigere Betrag ist anzurechnen. Im Falle eines Nichterscheinens wird Ihnen Ihre Kreditkartenzahlung abzüglich der Nichterscheinungsgebühr rückerstattet.

Nicht aufgebrauchte Miettage

Wir weisen darauf hin, dass nicht aufgebrauchte Miettage bei vorausbezahlten Reservierungen nicht rückerstattet werden.

Additional Driver Policy

Additional driver CHF 12.50 + tax per driver, per day - same minimum age policy as for renter. A maximum of 3 additional drivers is permitted.

Age Requirements

Minimum rental age 25 years for car groups FA = FDAR (Full Size), GR = PDAR (Premium), HR = LDAR (Luxury), J4 = IFMR (Intermediate 4x4), S = FVMR (Full Size Pax Van), SA = FVAR (Full Size Pax Van). Young Drivers between 21 and 24 years of age can only rent the following vehicles: A = MBMN (Mini), B = EDMR (Economy), C = CCMR (Compact), D = IDMR (Intermediate), E = SDMR (Standard), CA = CDAR (Compact), DA = IDAR (Intermediate), EA = SDAR (Satndard), CE = CWMR (Compact Wagon-Estate), DE = IVMR (Intermediate Pax Van), and EE = SWMR (Standard Wagon-Estate). Young Drivers surcharge - CHF 19.50 + tax per day. There is no maximum age policy.

Cross Border Policy

Vehicles are NOT permitted to be driven into: Albania, Belarus, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Lithuania, Serbia & Montenegro, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Macedonia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Turkey and the Ukraine. For other countries see the IOWP (International one-Way Programme). Please be advised that due to a change in law in Germany, it is mandatory for all vehicles crossing the border into Germany to have winter tyres fitted during the Snow & Icy conditions. Customers will be fined on the spot if they are stopped by police and found to not have the appropriate winter tyres.

Delivery / Collection

On Request only. When returning vehicle there is a Grace Period of 59 minutes, after that time there is a charge of 1 third of the daily charge.

Insurance Excess

Collision Damage Waiver & Theft Waiver limits the customer's financial responsibility for loss, damage or theft of the rental vehicle. The maximum excess that is payable in the event of one of these incidents is 2000.00 CHF. The maximum excess will vary depending on the vehicle you are renting, please ask at time of rental for further information on which excess applies. If you would like to reduce or remove your excess responsibility please ask the rental staff when collecting your vehicle about additional products that are on offer .

License Requirements

Drivers must be in possession of a valid drivers licence held for at least 1 year. An International Drivers licence is required if the license is not in Roman alphabet. Should your driving license not be resident to the country of origin of your booking we reserve the right to charge an appropriate rate for your country of residence.

One Way Rentals

Domestic one-ways are free of charge and do not have to be pre-booked. All vehicles can be used for domestic one-ways. International One Ways- Please consult the International One Way Policy (IOWP). These groups are not allowed for International One Way rentals FVMR (Full Size), FVAR (Full Size Pax Van), PDAR (Premium)and LDAR (Luxuary).

Out of Hours Policy

All out of hours reservations are on a request basis only at a charge of CHF 30.00 for pick up between 23:30 - 24:00 and CHF 60.00 for pick up after 24:00.

Payment Policy

All major Credit cards - Visa, Diners, MasterCard, Amex. Cash rentals are allowed - but only on request - for groups: MBMN (Mini), EDMR (Economy), CDMR (Compact), CDAR (Compact), CWMR (Compact Wagon-Estate), IDMR (Intermediate), IDAR (Intermediate), IVMR (Intermediate), SDMR (Standard), SDAR (Standard) and SWMR (Standard Wagon-Estate) only, Minimum deposit CHF 900.00. Also acceptable are National charge cards, National vouchers. Travellers Cheques and Eurocheques are NOT accepted. Two credit cards are required for the vehicle groups PDAR (Premium) and LDAR (Luxuary). A deposit of CHF 10,000.00 is held on the credit card when either these two vehicle groups is rented.

Refuelling Policy

The car is supplied with a full tank - return with a full tank or refuelling charges will apply. Pre-paid fuel option is also available.

Roadside Assistance

BREAKDOWNS: Phone numbers will be supplied on the rental agreement at the time of check out. A replacement vehicle will be supplied if necessary. ACCIDENTS: 1) Customers must call the police. 2) Fill in the blue European Accident report. 3) Call the nearest Alamo rental location. A replacement vehicle will be supplied if necessary.

Special Equipment

Child/Infant seat - CSI = CHF 60.00 per rental plus tax - deposit CHF 150.00 (Cash rentals: CHF 300.00) - On Request. Suitable for 0 - 1 year olds (0 - 13 Kgs). Toddler Seat - CST= CHF 60.00 per rental plus tax - deposit CHF 150.00 (Cash rentals CHF 300.00) - On Request.  Suitable for 1 - 7 year olds (9 - 18 Kgs). Ski rack - SKV = CHF 55.00 per rental plus tax - no deposit required - On Request. Available for all groups except MBMN. Available between 1st November and 15th April only. Snow Chains - SNO = CHF 2.50 per day plus tax - on freesale.  Winter Equipped Vehicle - (see Winter fee in Surcharges) MANDATORY from 1st November to 15th April (includes winter tyres and ice scrapper). GPS is also available and costs as follows: 1 day = CHF 35.00 + tax, 2 days = CHF 55.00 + tax, 3 days = CHF 70.00 + tax, 4 days = CHF 80.00 + tax and for 5+ days there is an additional CHF 10.00 + tax per day (e.g. 5 days = CHF 90.00 + tax, 6 days = CHF 100.00 + tax etc). GPS is not available to be pre-booked, as there is only a limited supply available.  If required, please add to the remarks on the reservation but it is not guaranteed to be available at time of checkout. When renting child seats, the age of the child/children must be provided at time of reservation. All special equipment except Winter Equipped Vehicle require 24 hours advance notice. All special equipment are available for one ways. Mobile telephones are not available. This country is not required by law to provide reflective jackets, but they can be purchased locally for CHF 10.

Surcharges

Airport surcharge is 20% plus tax on all charges except fuel. Vehicle Licence fee/road tax is CHF 4.75 per day plus tax. Winter fee = (WIEV) CHF 9.00 per day plus tax - MANDATORY for all rentals from November 1st until April 15th (see Winter Equipped Vehicle in Special Equipment). Busing Cost - CHF 7,50 per rental plus tax, applicable at Geneva Airport only.
